Marketing Manager

We're looking for a Marketing Manager to set marketing strategy and tone for projects across our client and owned/operated projects and platforms (mostly related with games).

The ideal candidate will be comfortable within a new organization that is growing quickly and can plan for the future while executing on the immediate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Marketing team leader

  • Lead strategy for marketing of client and owned/operated projects and platforms across digital platforms, social media, and other media as necessary.

  • Oversee marketing calendars for all projects and collaborate with each project owner to develop communication strategy across social and PR for each project.

  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.

  • Collaborate with each project producer, and the creative team to develop and execute campaigns, including paid media campaigns if necessary.

  • Develop and nurture relationships with platform and content partners to create effective opportunities for promotional activities.

  • Manage conversations with external partners as needed

  • Monitor the ongoing digital conversations about the brands, teams, and other relevant parties

  • Report on the growth and performance of each brand via analytics and adjust plans based on actionable insights

Must have skills:

  • A creative person deeply embedded in the online gaming and/or esports sphere, in-touch with the most relevant trends

  • A social media connoisseur, experienced with running large events, gaming brands or similar activities for multiple years

  • Proactive, identifying areas of improvement and addressing them accordingly

  • A strong communicator and team player

  • Native or strong business level Japanese

Good to have skills:

  • Business level English

  • Knowledge of competitive games from genres such as MOBA, FPS, Fighting etc.

  • Experienced with email and newsletter marketing experience
