League of Legends Japan League (LJL) is one of Japan’s longest running and most popular esports competitions in Japan. Not only is League of Legends the most popular esport in the world, it has also been the top esport by viewed minutes in Japan for many years.

PlayBrain has worked with the LJL since its launch in 2016, established a partnership with Riot Games and live venue owner, Yoshimoto Kogyo to run the league at the start of 2019. Since 2022, PlayBrain now operates the league from its own studios in Tokyo.
